Adam C Bartlett is a Los Angeles-based commercial photographer at the intersection of food and lifestyle.

Hi there! My name is Adam Bartlett and I began his career in the commercial photography industry as an assistant and digital technician for some of the world’s top photographers spanning the worlds of fashion, entertainment, cars and food.

Because of my experience traveling in my formative years, I have a thirst to understand and experience humanity and appreciate little moments across places and cultures. I believe food is inseperable from context and having grown up in a [half-]Mexican household surrounded by incredible cooks the context is what interests me most. I use imagery to observe, describe and attempt to understand the people and places that make up the beautiful and nuanced world we live in. I feel most at home behind a camera, and that's when my enthusiasm for life and tendency to get wrapped up in a moment come into play.

I make a great effort to employ the full use of my creativity, photographic skill and leadership on set to deliver the best images and experience to my clients on each shoot. I also strive to provide a laid-back and creative and inclusive atmosphere on set, while providing the images in the most timely, professional and photographically-beautiful manner possible. 

When I’m not on set, I still spend time behind a camera, but I prioritize time with my wife, daughter and our 2 rescue dogs. I can also be found trying out a new recipe they talked about on KCRW’s Good Food; working on our 1920’s Craftsman home; or camping, hiking, dirt biking and everything else outdoors. I also train each year for the Malibu Triathlon benefitting Children’s Hospital Los Angeles where my wife works.
